\n<\/span>World Customs Organization (WCO), established in 1952 under the name of Customs Cooperation Council (CCC) is an independent organization whose mission intergovernmental enhance the effectiveness and efficiency of customs administration.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Along with the growth in the number of participants, 1994 Customs Cooperation Council has approved the official name of the organization is the WCO, this shows more clearly the role of the organization in transition <\/span>degrees – an official organization of global intergovernmental.<\/span><\/p>\n

Currently, there are 177 WCO member countries worldwide, accounting for 98% of world trade. <\/span>WCO is the only international organization with the function mounts a global customs issues and express a common voice international customs community.<\/span><\/p>\n

Council is the management unit of the WCO coordination with the Secretariat and a series of technical advisory board and to execute its mission. <\/span>Secretariat has more than 130 staff, technical experts and logistics staff from many different countries.<\/span><\/p>\n

WCO mechanism acts as a forum for dialogue and sharing of experiences between national customs representatives, thereby providing the Member States a series of treaty and other legal documents including standards <\/span>customs modernization on various topics such as the classification of goods, value, rules of origin, trade fraud protection, supply chain security, integrity of customs and trade facilitation.<\/span><\/p>\n

Based on the recommendations of Member States, the WCO and its partners to support capacity building to reform and modernize. <\/span>Besides, the international community has recognized WCO crucial role in promoting the growth of international trade and the legitimate struggles of fraudulent activity. <\/span>Strengthening partnerships is one of the key factors to append WCO customs relations with partner countries. <\/span>Through promoting settlement of issues arising in the customs environment in a transparent and predictable, WCO directly contributes to economic welfare and economic development of member countries. <\/span>In the context of global uncertainties or risk of terrorist threats, the WCO’s mission is to strengthen the social security virtual meet and prevent terrorist country, ensure the facilitation of international trade.<\/span><\/p>\n
