UPS Expands Air Cargo Capabilities in the Philippines\u00a0<\/strong><\/h1>\n

UPS has expanded its air cargo capabilities in the Philippines<\/strong> with the opening of a new hub at Clark International Airport on October 15, 2026. The investment strengthens the company’s Asia-Pacific logistics network and aims to improve delivery speed, shipment processing, and international trade connectivity.<\/p>\n

According to UPS, the new facility is more than 15 times larger than its predecessor and supports operations across more than 1,100 global trade lanes.<\/p>\n

A Major Investment in Air Cargo Infrastructure<\/strong><\/h2>\n

UPS invested more than $80 million<\/strong> in the new Clark hub, which covers approximately 30,000 square meters.<\/p>\n

The facility can process an average of 46,000 packages per day, with a maximum sorting capacity of 15,000 packages per hour. The expansion has also created nearly 600 jobs.<\/p>\n

UPS now operates 170 weekly flight segments to and from Clark, connecting businesses across Asia-Pacific, India, Europe, and the United States.<\/p>\n

Faster Deliveries Across Asia-Pacific<\/strong><\/h2>\n

The expanded hub is expected to improve transit times on selected international routes.<\/p>\n

UPS says some shipments to and from eastern China and other major Asia-Pacific markets could arrive up to two days faster. Selected routes between Southeast Asia and India are also expected to benefit from shorter delivery times.<\/p>\n

The facility may also allow UPS to extend pickup cut-off times and provide earlier deliveries in selected markets.<\/p>\n

These improvements could help businesses manage inventory more efficiently and respond more quickly to changing customer demand.<\/p>\n
